2025 Women’s NCAA Tournament Championship Predictions (UConn vs. South Carolina)
South Carolina will try to become the first team to repeat as NCAA Women’s National Champions when they face the last team to repeat, the Connecticut Huskies (2013-17) on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. ET in Tampa, FL. It should be a great game to watch, and an even better one to bet on. Of course, competitive games can be challenging to bet on.

Best Women’s NCAA Tournament National Championship Bets
No 2. UConn Huskies (-290) vs. No. 1 South Carolina (+6.5) | O/U 132.5
I hate to risk my money on bets where I'm winning less than I risk. Rather than suggest you take either team to win straight up or against the spread (ATS), these are the same-game parlays I'm betting once I settle on a team to get behind.
As always, line shop before placing a bet to make sure you have the best odds for your desired market.
If You Think UConn Will Win Same-Game Parlay
(Odds Courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
UConn has already defeated the Gamecocks once in pretty convincing style, and the Huskies have only gotten better since then. I'm sure the same is true for South Carolina, but UConn is ranked No. 1 in the country for offensive and defensive efficiency. South Carolina is a great team, but the Huskies are playing their best basketball when it matters most.
It will be a close game at the half, but UConn will pull away in the second and win by double digits.
Parlay Odds: +164
If You Think South Carolina Will Win Same-Game Parlay
(Odds Courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
South Carolina's best chance to win will require the Gamecocks to slow the pace down and force UConn to play at their pace. If they succeed at that goal, I imagine the score will look a lot like the Duke (104 points), Indiana (117 points) or Texas games (131 points). Now, if the Gamecocks can pull this off, the score will likely be a close one.
If they don't win, the outcome will probably be close enough for South Carolina to win ATS.
Parlay Odds: +242
UConn vs. South Carolina Player Props
These are my favorite player props for the game. Each one can be used as the leg of a same-game parlay if you are open to the risk. Your options and odds will vary from one sportsbook to the next. So, I strongly suggest you shop around before putting money down.
While I am a big fan of South Carolina and how well they play, with so much talent on one team, no one produces at a consistent enough rate for me to suggest putting money down on a player prop for the Gamecocks.
Azzi Fudd to Score 15+ Points (+176 at FanDuel Sportsbook) & Over 12.5 Points (+100 at BetMGM)
Azzi Fudd has been all over the place during tournament play, scoring 27, 17, 10, eight and 19 points. She averaged 13.3 points per game during the regular season. In the South Carolina game, the Gamecocks focused so much on Paige Bueckers that Fudd often got uncontested looks at the basket. Fudd, a former No. 1 recruit, went 11-for-22 shots, including 6-for-10 from three-point range, for a season-high 28 points.
While South Carolina knows it needs to be more aware of the rest of the team, stopping Bueckers still has to be the goal. That means Fudd should get some open looks once again.
Sarah Strong Over 10.5 Rebounds (+100 at Caesars Sportsbook)
Sarah Strong has been, well - (I'm sorry) - strong on the boards all season long, averaging 8.7 per game. She's averaging 11 per game in the tournament with a high of 17 versus USC. South Carolina is a solid rebounding team, but Strong had 13 back in the February matchup between these two teams. I expect she'll have similar numbers in this game.
